When Stephanie called and asked if I could take photos for her labor and delivery, I was ecstatic! There are so many emotions present at the birth of a new baby and capturing those kinds of raw and real emotions is why I became a photographer. I know from my own experience all of those emotions come and several happen all at the same time. I was nervous, excited, anxious, happy, in pain, and exhausted just to name a few, but it was the most amazing experience! And I loved that I was able to be with Steph as she experienced those same emotions. This first photo is one of my favorites, I took it right after I arrived and several hours before baby Zoey was born. I love the look on Steph’s face, anticipating the arrival of her baby girl.
Stephanie had an awesome support group with her and they all were phenomenal in keeping her happy and comfortable, as well as entertaining her while we waited :). 
Ryan was amazing and I was so impressed with how well he took care of Stephanie through the whole process!

Of all the photos I have ever taken, this last one stands out in my mind as one of my favorites. I love the look on Ryan’s face as he watched his baby girl, he adored her instantly! Thank you Stephanie and Ryan for trusting me to be a part of such an important milestone in your life, I love you guys!
