I have been taking Emily’s pictures for a couple of years now. If you haven’t seen my first post about Emily and her darling family, or you have but need a little refresher, check out my first family session with the Hammon’s here.
During my last photo session with Emily, we took a little extra time to take some photos for her album cover. Yes, you heard me right, ALBUM! Emily has the most incredible voice and just listening to her sing will make your heart happy. When we were growing up together, Emily used to sit at the piano and I would beg her to sing me songs she had written, songs that I still remember today! Hearing her voice brings back so many fond memories and this past Christmas, I received her first album and it is amazing!!! If you can get your hands on this, you should!
Emily has a ridiculous amount of talent. She is currently renovating her darling farmhouse, seriously, it’s a dream. I want to move in! Her family helps with the projects and I love following along! If you aren’t following Emily’s adventures, you should! She is incredibly inspiring, real, and wonderful! Emily’s blog can be found here
For the Hammon’s family session this year, Emily wanted to go with a rustic farmhouse kind of feel. Lucky for us, Utah has some perfect locations for this kind of setting. We drove out to the Lehi Roller Mills, which was perfect!! Lots of fun textured backdrops and plenty of variety. This family has so much fun together and Emily and Jake are the cutest couple! They make each other laugh, which I love because it creates the most darling images! I love taking photos of families who play and have fun with each other. I absolutely loved catching up with the Hammon’s and I hope you enjoy their photos!
